Simple Chocolate Pea Cookie Cake

8½ oz (250 g) milk or darkish chocolate

100 g (3½ oz) butter

400 g (14 oz) digestive biscuits

1 tablespoon golden syrup or honey

5 tablespoons cream to pour

900g bread tin


Soften the chocolate with the butter.

Combine the golden syrup or honey along with approx. 5 tablespoons of cream till you get a clean and silky sauce.

Let cool barely, then break up digestive biscuits.

Switch to the bread tin that has been lined with parchment paper.

Let cool for a minimum of 2 hours (in a single day is finest).

To serve, take away from the mould on an appropriate plate.

Let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes earlier than slicing for serving.
